How It Ended in Game 2
- The Muskies started the ninth inning down 2-0 to the Capital Comets.
 - Junior Weston Melick got things rolling early in the bottom of the ninth with a solo home run over the left centerfield fence.
 - This forced the Comets to make a pitcher change.
 - After the new pitcher got one Muskie to ground out to shortstop, the Muskies once again found momentum.
 - Sophomore Louie Hess pinch hit and singled to left field to put the game tying run on first base.
 - Senior Andy Eurez stepped in as a pinch runner for Hess and stole second base within the next at bat.
 - Senior Gavin Hawk earned a walk and with that brought the game winning run to first base.
 - Sophomore Joey Eurez pinch ran for Hawk and senior Peyton Carr stepped up to the plate.
 - Carr knocked a well positioned ball in between second and third that allowed the shortstop for Capital only one choice. That choice was to attempt a throw to third that had no chance of getting A. Eurez out.
 - With bases loaded and one out, sophomore Jackson Duchesne squared around and laid down a bunt that squeezed past a diving first baseman for Capital.
 - With the ball rolling through the infield grass, A. Eurez scored. As that was happening, J. Eurez rounded third base and was headed for home.
 - As J. Eurez ran towards home, the Capital second baseman attempted to throw the ball to the catcher to no avail.
 - J. Eurez scored and the Muskies completed the comeback win.
