For years, people have talked about how the NFL Draft isn’t an exact science.
Sometimes, players who look like can’t-miss prospects end up being disappointments because of subpar play, bad luck, a bad fit, or injuries.
Others sometimes prove the critics wrong.
Notably, that’s currently the case with Bo Nix.
The Denver Broncos took the Oregon product with the No. 12 pick, and while there was some skepticism, he’s making a case for being the best rookie quarterback in the league.
That’s why The 33rd Team has deemed him the biggest steal of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Nix has led the Broncos to a 7-5 record.
He’s completing almost 65% of his throws and has 2,548 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
Nix has been a perfect fit for Sean Payton’s system.
Also, it’s not much of a coincidence that the two best rookie quarterbacks from this class had plenty of experience in college.
Nowadays, the league expects the rookies to hit the ground running, but fundamentals matter.
Nix has always been a privileged athlete.
His ability to extend plays with his legs is an underrated part of his game, and he’s always had a cannon for an arm.
Sean Payton has done a great job helping him reduce unnecessary risks.
He may not be as well-known as Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels, but early in his career, he has shown an impressive performance compared to them.
