Anytime a big-name player names his Mt. Rushmore of NBA players, it will undoubtedly grab headlines.

Chicago Bulls point guard Lonzo Ball recently named his list of Mt. Rushmore NBA players on Unapologetically Angel with WNBA star Angel Reese.

“Bron, Jordan, I’m going Shaq just because he’s the most dominant ever…It’s looking like (Steph) Curry might have to find his way in there,” Ball said Friday.

Ball also mentioned considering including Lakers legends Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant on the list, but he decided against it.

It is very hard to argue with this list.

LeBron James is the greatest player today because of his career portfolio, longevity, and overall ability.

He is the league’s all-time leading scorer and has been both a champion and an MVP many times.

Michael Jordan could be called the greatest of all time simply because of his dominant run in the 1990s as a member of the Chicago Bulls.

The six-time champion was the definition of a winner and made some of the most unbelievable plays in the history of the league during his storied career.

Shaquille O’Neal was a true force in the paint because of his whopping size and ability to convert at will nearly every time he got the ball.

Steph Curry is the greatest shooter in the history of the game.

His ability to pull up from anywhere on the court changed the game, as NBA fans and teams know it.
