Muskingum Volleyball Stumbles on the Road to Mount Union

The Muskingum Volleyball team stumbled on the road to Mount Union 3-1 (15-25, 25-23, 12-25, 19-25) on Wednesday night.

  • Sophomore Mackenzie Krous led the Muskie attack with 13 kills and 13 digs.
  • Sophomore Katharine Clayton showcased her defensive efforts with 20 digs. Clayton added two assists, a kill, and a service ace.
  • Junior Emma Johnson helped pace the offense with eight kills. She also added two digs and a block.
  • Senior Addison Gingrich and sophomore Alexis Bradley each dished out 18 assists. Gingrich added eight digs, three service aces, and a kill, while Bradley contributed six digs and four service aces.
  • Sophomore Halle Huston contributed seven kills (.313 kill percentage).
  • Junior Josie Niemeyer totaled seven kills, three digs, two assists, and a block.
  • Sophomore Maddie Ferrell finished with five kills, four digs, and a block.
  • Sophomore Cierra Lathrop posted 12 digs.
  • Sophomore Sophia Keller recorded four kills, two digs, and a block.
  • Muskingum finished with 46 kills, 40 assists, 71 digs, four blocks, and nine service aces.
  • Alexis Meyer led Mount Union with 14 kills and four digs.
  • Casey Kidlow and Melissa Hansen each totaled 21 assists.
