Volleyball sweeps day two of the Cedar Point Invitational

The Muskingum volleyball team defeated Oberlin in a five-set thriller (25-14, 25-27, 19-25, 25-16, 15-6) at the Cedar Point Invitational on Saturday.

• Sophomore Alexis Bradley powered the offense as she assisted on 37 points and notched eight kills.
• Sophomore Mackenzie Krous finished with 13 kills and added 14 digs.
• Junior Emma Johnson posted 11 kills.
• Sophomore Sophia Keller registered eight kills.
• Sophomore Katharine Clayton led the defense with 15 digs.
• Muskingum finished with 53 kills, 47 assists, 70 digs and four blocks.
• Josie Macdonald led Oberlin with 17 kills and 12 digs.

• Bradley had a career-best 50 assists that fueled the Muskingum offense. She added 14 digs, four service aces, and three kills.
• Krous helped power the Muskies with her 25 kills that tied her career-high.
• Johnson tallied 14 kills.
• Freshman Brooklyn Heller had 13 kills and three assists.
• Junior Josie Niemeyer added 10 kills and five digs.
• Clayton solidified the defense with her 24 digs.
• The Muskies finished with 67 kills, 63 assists, 70 digs, and 13 service aces.
• Andrya Hanmore led Hiram with 15 kills.
• Morgan Tomblin added 14 kills and 11 digs for Hiram.
