Women's tennis falls in season finale at Marietta

The Muskingum women’s tennis team fell in its season finale at Marietta on Wednesday afternoon, 8-1.

Freshman Kara Loader and senior Evelyn Pauquette dropped a hard-fought 8-5 battle at first doubles. Senior Jane Boyer and sophomore Scarlett Martell suffered a tough 8-5 setback at second doubles. 

In singles action, Boyer delivered a dominating performance at fourth singles en route to a 6-3, 6-1 win against Parkar Mauk. The victory gave the Muskies their lone point in the contest.

The match marked the final outing of the 2023 spring season for Muskingum.
