In Week 12, the Green Bay Packers made a statement on their home field at Lambeau Field by crushing the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers, who beat them in the second round of the NFL playoffs last year at Levi’s Stadium.
The 49ers may have been shorthanded, as star quarterback Brock Purdy was unable to play due to injury, but the Packers proved that they are ready for the postseason and whomever they might face as they destroyed the visiting 49ers by 28 points.
Unfortunately for Green Bay, the team wasn’t able to enjoy the blowout win against San Francisco for long because they’ll have to get right back to work on a short week on Thanksgiving Day against Tua Tagovailoa and the visiting Miami Dolphins.
Along with playing on a short week, the Packers will have to take on the Dolphins without a few notable players, with wide receiver Romeo Doubs, cornerback Jaire Alexander and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper ruled out for Thursday’s game, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
As expected, WR Romeo Doubs, CB Jaire Alexander and LB Edgerrin Cooper have been ruled out for tomorrow night.
C Josh Myers and LB Isaiah McDuffie both questionable but were listed as participants as their practice estimates.

Even though the team will be without these notable players, Green Bay still has the edge coming into this Thanksgiving Day matchup at Lambeau Field, as the conditions will be in their favor.
The Packers are currently favored by -3.5 to come out on top in this cold-weather game in Wisconsin, as the team is on a roll and arguably the better all-around squad right now in comparison to the Dolphins, who have only just started to play at a high level with Tagovailoa getting back to form.
