For the first seven years of his NFL career, Aaron Jones was a fixture in the Green Bay Packers’ offensive backfield and formed a potent one-two punch with AJ Dillon.
But this offseason, the Packers released him, and a day later, he signed with, of all teams, the Minnesota Vikings, one of Green Bay’s most hated NFC North rivals.
Jones recently gave his thoughts on how this season has gone, and the comment is sure to ruffle the feathers of Packers fans.
“This is probably the most fun I’ve had playing football,” Jones said, via VikingzFanPage.

Coming into the 2024 season, despite the addition of Jones and the presence of weapons in the passing game such as Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, the Vikings were expected by most to miss the playoffs.
But quarterback Sam Darnold, who had been dismissed by many as a bust, has been a revelation, and Jones has had another productive year.
The running back has 1,046 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns, 348 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns through 15 games.
In Week 4 against the Packers at Lambeau Field, he put up 93 rushing yards and 46 receiving yards as the Vikings held on for a 31-29 victory.
Minnesota is 13-2, which is tied with the Detroit Lions for the best record in the NFC, and the teams will face off in Week 18 at Detroit to end the regular season.
That game could decide which team will have home-field advantage through the conference title game.
