Every team in the NFL gets a fresh start at the beginning of the season.
Some teams are given greater odds than others to make the playoffs and the Super Bowl, but every team has the chance coming into the year.
Typically by the midpoint of the season, fans can tell what teams have a chance to win the big game, and what teams will struggle down the stretch.
The San Francisco 49ers were the odds-on favorite to take home the Lombardi Trophy before the season started, but that is not the case anymore.
The Kansas City Chiefs continue their dominance over the AFC, and the NFC is seemingly led by the 8-1 Detroit Lions.
With this in mind, Doug Gottlieb talked about both teams in a recent segment of FOX Sports Radio.
“Both these teams just find a way to win… Both of these teams feel like they are on a collision course ending in the Super Bowl,” Gottlieb said.

Gottlieb likes the chances of the Chiefs and Lions meeting in the Super Bowl, a matchup that could provide one of the greatest Super Bowl games in recent history.
Jared Goff has been playing MVP-caliber football for much of the year, and Patrick Mahomes is seemingly starting to get his magic and mojo back.
The Chiefs are looking for their third-straight title, and the Lions are looking for their first.
With so many potential storylines throughout this game, many fans are hoping that this matchup prediction comes to fruition.
