The Major League Baseball offseason is loaded with free-agent talent this year, and rumors have been taking over the headlines as of late.
With big names such as Juan Soto, Pete Alonso and Corbin Burnes leading the way, there has been plenty of speculation on where all of these players end up in 2025.
Soto has been the biggest headliner with known interest from the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox.
It can be fun for fans and analysts to predict where some of these big-name players will play.
Analyst Robert Flores recently gave his predictions on six of the top free agents and where they will sign, via MLB Network.

Flores predicts that the Mets will win the New York battle and prevail in signing Soto.
Mets owner Steve Cohen should be able to offer Soto the most money if he is willing to do so.
The only player Flores has signing with the same team he played for in 2024 is Burnes, who he predicts will stay with the Baltimore Orioles.
Although the Yankees wouldn’t get Soto in this prediction, they do end up with third baseman Alex Bregman from the Houston Astros.
Alonso signing with the San Francisco Giants is an interesting prediction as there has only been one right-handed batter to hit a home run into McCovey Cove, but Alonso’s power to all fields could change that.
Flores also has Max Fried signing with the Chicago Cubs, and Anthony Santander choosing the Washington Nationals.
As the offseason continues, Flores’ predictions will be something to watch to see how many prove correct in the end.
