After falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13, the Cincinnati Bengals owned a 4-8 record, looking like a team destined to miss the AFC playoffs for a second consecutive year.
The Bengals have rebounded with three straight wins since that outing and will be looking to extend that streak against the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
Despite their poor start, the Bengals remain in the playoff picture, needing wins over the final two weeks along with help from other teams to make an appearance in the postseason.
Cincinnati continues to look for help from players outside the organization who can make the Bengals a better team.
The franchise added such a player on Tuesday, re-signing quarterback Logan Woodside to the practice squad roster.

Woodside has been with the Bengals multiple times over the past seven years.
Cincinnati originally drafted Woodside in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft before waiving him only a few months later.
Since September 2018, Woodside has had multiple stints with the Tennessee Titans as well as one with the Atlanta Falcons.
He also played briefly for the now-defunct AAF, starting eight games with the San Antonio Commanders in 2019.
For his career, Woodside has been on an active roster for 13 total NFL contests since 2020, completing four of his seven passes for 34 yards and an interception during his appearances.
Woodside has also rushed the football 14 times for 10 yards.
The Bengals had Woodside on the active roster for the team’s last two outings, allowing him to back up quarterback Joe Burrow in those contests.
