The San Francisco 49ers were dubbed the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl.
Many people believed that this team was going to build off their Super Bowl appearance from last year, getting revenge and taking the Lombardi Trophy back home.
Unfortunately for the 49ers, their offense took a major hit before the season started, as it was announced that Christian McCaffrey was dealing with a significant injury.
He didn’t suit up for the 49ers until Week 10, when he had 13 rushing attempts for 39 yards, adding six receptions for 68 more yards.
While he had a relatively pedestrian game on the ground, his receiving totals helped the 49ers get past the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
McCaffrey is now back in the fold for the 49ers, ready to contribute in any way possible.
He might be excited to be back on the field, but he did want to call out a few people in a recent interview shared via David Lombardi on X.
“One thing I learned about the whole process, is that you get a lot of Instagram doctors out there, some guys that are diagnosing my injury… I tried to stay focused on my plan, what I trusted in, and try to go from there to try to limit all the outside noise,” McCaffrey said.

The running back might have been thrown off by some online doctors at first, but he seems to trust the 49ers’ medical staff, knowing he has been cleared to play moving forward.
Will his presence inject life into the 49ers’ offense, something they haven’t had much of this season?
