The Chicago Bears will be looking for a new head coach this offseason after former head coach Matt Eberflus was let go earlier this season.
With a young and talented nucleus on offense, the team may want to hire a hotshot, offensive-minded head coach.
Finding a better candidate than Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is hard.
According to the latest odds from Bovada, Kingsbury has the second-best odds of being the team’s head coach next season.

What is interesting about Kingsbury is that he coached Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams in 2023 at USC when he was an offensive analyst.
Now, he has helped turn the Commanders into one of the league’s most explosive offenses, with standout rookie signal-caller Jayden Daniels leading the way.
Currently ranked fifth in total offense (377.6 yards per game) and fourth in scoring offense (28.9 points per game), the Commanders have revamped themselves on offense this season.
A lot of that has to do with the play-calling and the play design of Kingsbury.
If he could implement what he has done with the Commanders into the Bears, the sky could be the limit for Chicago’s offense.
Caleb Williams has certainly shown flashes, as has his group of pass-catchers.
Perhaps the Bears could be the Commanders of next season if they brought in a college-style offense.
Time will tell if the Bears’ front office targets the former Arizona Cardinals head coach in Kingsbury or another offensive-minded coach like Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson.
