Many people are still talking about Jayson Tatum’s time in the Paris Olympics.
Actually, they are talking about his lack of time during the games.
Speaking with Paul George, Boston Celtics star Jrue Holiday talked about Tatum’s little playing time during the Olympics and said his teammate got through it like a true pro.
According to a video shared by ClutchPoints, Holiday said:
“I feel like they were as professional as could be… He handled it like a professional… Was it weird? Yeah, it’s Jayson Tatum. Top 5 player in the league.”

When the Olympics started, Tatum was still on a high after winning his first NBA championship.
Because of his status in the league and the success of him and his team, most people thought he’d play a lot during the Olympics.
But head coach Steve Kerr only used Tatum sparingly, and that drew a lot of criticism.
People felt that Kerr was ignoring one of his best players, perhaps because he holds a grudge against the Celtics.
Then again, fellow Celtics stars Derrick White and Holiday himself got time on the court, which made the entire situation even more confusing.
Kerr always said he had nothing against Tatum and was simply trying to make his team thrive and achieve a gold medal.
Team USA walked away with that medal, so things ultimately worked out well, but people are still upset by how little they saw Tatum.
The Olympics likely upset Tatum too, but, according to Holiday, he handled it all very well and didn’t let his anger or disappointment show.
Even though he wasn’t playing much, Tatum wanted to help Team USA win.
