Liverpool and Chelsea could go head-to-head to sign Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez at the end of the season, according to Football Insider.
The Reds currently have Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas for the left-back role, but the former is no longer in the prime of his career.
Robertson could be shown the exit door next summer and Kerkez has been identified as a top target to replace the Scottish sensation.
The Blues have had Marc Cucurella as the regular left-back, but they seem to be eyeing an upgrade, who has the ability to overlap regularly.
Kerkez has made a big impression since his arrival to Bournemouth last year and he was exceptional in the 2-1 win over Manchester City.
The 21-year-old bagged his first two assists of the campaign with exceptional crosses. He is one to watch out for in the future.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the past and they could return for his services at the end of the campaign.
