The Denver Nuggets scored another much-needed win on Friday when they beat the Miami Heat 135-122.
As expected, Nikola Jokic was a massive part of their win, scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists.
Following the game, Jokic spoke with the press and talked about the things he should have done differently.
As noted by DNVR Nuggets on X, he said, “It’s easy to be a general after a war.”
That means that he can come up with plenty of great ideas following a game but that doesn’t mean anything and he should be producing them in the midst of battle.

The Nuggets are now 6-3 for the season and have won four games in a row against the Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors, Oklahoma City Thunder, and finally the Heat.
After a tough start to the season, it seems the Nuggets are finally figuring things out.
Even when his team wasn’t handling things well, Jokic never panicked and remained the cool, calm, and collected presence he is.
It’s wild to think the Nuggets have had any problems at all with Jokic averaging 28.9 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 11.3 assists per game, especially because those rebounds and assists are league-highs.
But fans are very relieved he has stayed consistent and dominant because he has opened the door for the team to get back on track.
The Nuggets have one more game at home, against the Dallas Mavericks, before they take a three-game road trip against the New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies.
No matter what happens, Jokic will be steady, strong, and introspective, which is part of what makes him such a special superstar.
